Swiss Chard

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 large bunch Swiss Chard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Sylverleaf olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Steps:

  1. Place chard into a pot with a steamer.
  2. Steam chard 6 minutes.
  3. Remove chard from pot and drain thoroughly.
  4. Pour olive oil into pan and heat over medium, then add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  5. Reduce heat to low and add chard to skillet.
  6. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
  7. Add salt, pepper and vinegar, toss to coat and serve.
