Chocolate Chip Cookies
Serves 6

Ingredients:
- 2¼ cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon dark Mexican vanilla
- 1½ bags premium milk chocolate chips (like Ghirardelli)

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Combine flour with the baking soda and salt. Set aside.
- In a mixer bowl, cream butter with both sugars, eggs and vanilla.
- Gradually blend the flour mixture into the creamed mixture.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 9-11 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven a let sit on cookie sheet for 1 minute.
- Place cookies onto a wire cooling rack.
- Eat!
