Keep It Fresh
Extra virgin olive oil is a completely natural food product. As such, it is
susceptible to exposure to heat, light and air. We store the oil under ideal
conditions prior to bottling, then use heavy, dark green Italian glass bottles
to shield the oil from the outside world. To maintain the full-bodied flavor of
Sylverleaf olive oils:
- Do not refrigerate
- Store away from heat and light
- Keep the bottle clean
- Close the bottle tightly
- Consume the oil within 18 months of the harvest date

| Our suggestion is to store the oil in a cupboard near to
your stove or prep area. Each time you use the oil, be sure to replace the cork and wipe the
bottle clean (use this smidgen of olive oil to moisturize the cook's skin or sore muscles!).
