Our Extra Virgin Olive OilsWe offer to you three distinct extra virgin olive oils. They range in flavor from the spicy, peppery Verde to the complex, balanced and flowery Sylverleaf Estate to the fruity smoothness of our Foothills Blend. There is an olive oil here for every need and every level of olive oil lover. This is a very special treat for any olive oil lover! If you've ever wondered what a premium olive oil tastes like in its purest form, then this is what you're looking for. Verde is an assertive, peppery and green olive oil with a strong pungency. You won't taste a fresher olive oil unless you are visiting an olive mill during the harvest season. Verde is offered only while our harvest is in progress, typically from early November through late January. This guarantees the freshest and most flavorful olive oil you will ever find. Sylverleaf Estate — Medium Intense Flavor
The Sylverleaf Estate is our signature olive oil and is produced from olives grown solely in our own orchards in Loma Rica. We harvest the olives for this oil from November through January of each year. This lengthy harvest season creates a wide range of flavors; from the spicy, sassy, green olive flavors of the early harvests through the mild, slightly sweet and buttery flavors of the later harvests. We strive to maintain a harmonious balance and exceptional character in this olive oil. Use Sylverleaf Estate with soft cheeses, on salads, in soups, as a dip for bread, and in your everyday cooking. You'll be surprised how this oil will bring out the flavor of your favorite recipes. Foothills Blend — Medium Flavor
We craft this internationally-acclaimed extra virgin olive oil from select Spanish variety olives that grow well in the Sierra Foothills region of California. You can expect the Foothills Blend to be fruity and complex, with a softer flavor than our Sylverleaf Estate. Use the Foothills Blend on salads, in soups, as a dip for bread, and in your everyday cooking. This oil is equally at home in the frying pan and the baking pan. Try fudge brownies with our olive oil rather than vegetable oil. We think that you'll be pleasantly surprised by the way that this olive oil's slight bitterness accentuates the flavor of chocolate. |
