The Story of Sylverleaf
In September of 2001, we moved from the ever-growing Petaluma, California to the small Sierra Foothill
town of Loma Rica. We envisioned a quiet country retreat that would allow us to slow down, relax and

near to the harvest season and they were setting up their harvest schedules. After several
discussions with the previous owners of the property and the olive oil makers themselves, we
settled on who would pick the trees. Thus began our interaction with the trees and our introduction
to fine olive oils from all around the world.
